This 1-day workshop will cover 4 topics:
Lean UX Fundamentals
Talk with individual and group exercises. Introduces practical UX techniques in a Lean Startup context, looking at the intersection between product management, UX, and development.
Customer Development Interviews & Generative Research
This introduces the difference between generative and evaluative research. You'll learn how to interview, and we'll create a discussion guide and a practice interviewing.
Developing product and interface ideas
Techniques on using material from your interviews and other research, including sketch prototyping and storyboarding "uses."
Quantitative and Qualitative Evaluation
Learn how to best match your questions, hypotheses and unknowns with the right research methods. In-depth discussion about quantitive vs qualitative research, including a review of common research questions, case studies and a survey of tools (eg, 5second test, usertesting.com).
